Welcome to Darussalam Primary and Hr. Secondary School of Kadayanallur
Began as a rural village school with 100 years back. The school has strong links with the local traditions and cultural values that are blended with ethnicity. Children, Parents and Teachers express care and understanding of one another in an atmosphere of mutual trust & respects.

- Grades 1 to 12, the school has over 30 class room and sections spread out over 8 branches as Darussalam Primary school, Darussalam English School (with many branches in the key areas) and Darussalam Hr. Sec. School.
- Children come to our school predominantly from the Kadayanallur Municipal zone that is spread over 3 km radius. Some of the students also come from five neighboring villages, the furthest one being 8 km away.
The History of Darussalam School.
The core school- buildings were constructed by the founder, Philanthropist S.Muhaideen Sahib during 1920's and these historical structures of 'al Nur' are still brightening on the prime purpose-built school site. Allah is to bless him in heaven. Through the year 1977, the Darussalam Landmarks are: Janab S.M Abdul Kareem sahib , a 4 decades of unselfish services as the Manager shouldered all the educational-caring responsibilities . Later, his eldest son Er. S.A Muhaideen ; (the year 1978 through 2011) had expanded with new school sites and acquired new campus (a purpose-built buildings) during his managerial period . These are the timely additions of the family properties of late S.M. Abdul Kareem sahib and his sons . In recent past years when educational system was up-graded to high school status and the spacing shortage was critical , the revered Saifullah Haja Darkha (Thaikha) buildings located in the heart of the town are being used . The renowned Thaikha premises is indeed a gift from Allah (swt) as a timely complements to the expanding Darussalam's school system.
